The couple visited the tropical destination to celebrate a wedding anniversary with close friends and take a well-deserved break. Gerber, 62, enjoyed a swim in the crystal-clear waves, sporting baby-blue board shorts.

Crawford stunned in a red bikini featuring a triangle halter top with a gold metal ring at the center and matching tie-side bottoms while enjoying Cancun’s pristine beaches.

She completed the look with oversized brown sunglasses and her signature loose, beachy waves, radiating effortless glamour. Netizens took to social media to share their thoughts, with opinions ranging from admiration to critique.

One user remarked sharply, “No waist , no curves. Definetly her prime was in the 90s and there’s nothing left of that [sic].”

However, not all comments were glowing. A more neutral voice chimed in“She looks all right. She doesn’t have a sexy body though,” while another quipped“It looks like an mother body papa [sic].”

Others offered critiques, including a suggestion for a different hairstyle to improve her look.

Meanwhile, some users reacted positively to Crawford’s photos, calling her “perfect.” More users expressed admiration and enthusiasm for her beach look.

Others couldn’t help but gush. One fan exclaimed“❤️🔥 looking SOOO good [sic]!!” and another highlighted the star’s age-defying appeal, “She’ll be 59 in February 🔥.”

Despite mixed reactions from netizens, Crawford has not been shy about discussing her own struggles with body image. In a 2013 interview with Net-a-Porter’s The Edit, she admitted to grappling with self-acceptance and setting a goal to embrace her body by the time she turned 50.

“I want to have come to terms with my body,” she said. “I’m a normal woman, sometimes I feel pretty good and some days I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, nothing fits.'”

While determined to make peace with her looks, Crawford also made it clear that strict dieting wasn’t her preference. She emphasized that the sacrifices required to lose a few pounds—like skipping salad dressing, wine, or other simple pleasures—weren’t worth compromising her enjoyment of life.

This candid perspective highlighted her journey toward balance, proving that even a supermodel isn’t immune to the pressures of societal beauty standards.

In 2014, a photo of Crawford reportedly described as “real and untouched” went viral, inspiring many women who initially saw it as a rare glimpse of natural beauty. However, in a 2015 Elle interview, she revealed the truth about the viral photo, which had been altered to exaggerate imperfections.

She said of the experience, “I felt blindsided. I know my body, and I know it’s not perfect, but maybe I have a false body image; maybe I think I look better than I doy body, and I know it’s not perfect, but maybe I have a false body image; maybe I think I look better than I do.”

Crawford noted that women often feel inferior when comparing themselves to idealized magazine images, even if that isn’t the intention. She acknowledged that the viral photo struck a chord because it revealed a relatable and imperfect side of her typically polished image.

Although the experience left her conflicted, Crawford chose not to speak out against the image at the time. “I couldn’t come out against it because I’m rejecting all these people who felt good about it, but I also didn’t embrace it because it wasn’t real—and even if it were real, I wouldn’t have wanted it out there,” she recalled.

Throughout her career, Crawford credited her success to her willingness to take risks and break barriers. She took on projects that challenged norms, including posing for Playboy and appearing on MTV, paving the way for models to expand beyond the runway.

“I thought, ‘I am going to take advantage of this moment, do my own thing,'” Crawford said. Her boldness not only propelled her to superstardom but also inspired future generations of models to embrace control over their careers.

“I think some of the young girls saw me as someone who used the business back, not just getting eaten up by it. It’s like women’s rights or everything else, you break the glass ceiling a little each time,” she remarked.

Despite her journey with body image, Cindy Crawford radiates confidence. On her recent vacation, she appeared at ease, embracing the sun, sand, and cherished moments with close companions.
